June is hear and summer is upon us. This quilt reminds me
of sunflowers, and strawberries. Grab your 2025 Mini-a-Month
Postcard Collection and some of your summer inspired scraps
and make this happy little quilt today. I am sold out of the 2025
collection, but don't worry the 2026 collection is in the works
and will be available before you know it.

Patchwork Potpourri is almost here and it is pre order time.
I have had fun making several different projects. Here are all the
details or head straight to the website and place your pre order here.

I made this cute little dress for my granddaughter. It was simple and
is the perfect way to showoff this collections Convenience Cloth.
I used this pattern and one yard of fabric.

This tote bag is the perfect carryall for a trip to the library or a few
supplies for your next quilting class. I used this pattern and I
purchased the leather straps and hardware from here.

Use the free pattern featuring Patchwork Potpourri from the Marcus
Fabrics website
to make this cute Petal Pillow.  I added a 2-1/2" cut
border to each side of the Patchwork petal block to make a 20" pillow.
I quilted it with an all over meander and finished it off with a
overlapping backing and a red stripe binding.

Pre orders will be accepted until June 14. All pre orders placed
by this date will arrive with a free TQC Treat. Fabric is due
to arrive in July and will be shipped as soon as possible. Check
out our different bundle options and order some extra yardage
of the Convenience Cloth to make a special project here.

TQC Journal | special edition

I have been working on this Slow Stitch project for awhile now.
It is going nowhere fast and is the perfect project to pick up
when other things are not keeping me busy. I have decided to
use my Slow Stitching for the Fifth Friday posts this year.
I am hoping to wrap this project up this year. We will see.
This is an image of the quilt that is inspiring my quilt.
If you would like to Slow Stitch with me here are the simple details.

I am hand piecing my blocks, but of course machine piecing
is always an option.

I am using the rubberstamp technique to mark and cut my squares.
My square rubber stamp finishes 5/8" creating a 8-1/8" finished block.
You can choose whatever size square you like, this just happened
to be the size stamp I had on time. I purchased a variety of stamps
from Jeanneke. Her work is wonderful and you can see more here.

Cut you center square according to the size of squares you are using.
I am trying to recreate the colors from the original quilt as close as
possible. Hopefully my finished quilt will have the same wonderful
scrappy look as this little masterpiece.
